Unlike other obboriginal people in the world, many Indian adivasees/tribals are culturally a rich community. Once they were powerful /on par with the Dravids and Aryans who invaded their habitats. The current Indian people are an admix of these three groups-Adivasees, Dravids and Aryans. Only more DNA mapping studies are required to prove this further. But when we look at the Indian temples , the rituals etc, we will see a great influence of Adivasees on the intruders. The first idols we see beore many temples are those of Adivasees. Even if somebody say that untouchable people were kept outside the temple, these idols were never removed from the premises of temples. Besides, in ancient time in many areas Adivasees had /have some previlages in the society like many other untouchable out caste Hindus. The Brahmins, Kshatriyas etc had to use thier services also.
Secondly if somebody closely watch the physical features of these three groups, lot of resemblence will be revealed.
But as a whole Adivasees were always exploited by Hindus.
Now the STATE TERROR is mercilessly liquidating the Adivasees. Many in the Indian Government knows that Adivasees are our vast genepool, our heritage ......But for many petty officials , they are terrorists. We all must know that these genocides are just like liquidating our own heritage, our own gene bank, our own existence.
